Networking – Networking – Networking
We promised more networking opportunities and boy did we have them this last month - with 4 events!
“Speed Networking” at last month’s breakfast was a huge success. Thanks to Broward Community College for sponsoring the breakfast and giving us some insight into their students’ scholarly pursuits. If you missed the “Speed Networking”, come to breakfast on March 19 th and see what it’s all about. Please come early so you can start promoting your business promptly at 7:30. You won’t regret it.
The Ribbon Cutting and reception at Individually Wrapped was very well attended…due in part, I’m sure, to all that great food. Very fun.
Commerce Bank hosted last month’s Business After Hours with their usual great hospitality. I saw many business cards exchanging hands. By the way, if you have a lot of change for Relay for Life, Commerce Bank has a change-counting machine that you can use at no charge, so stop by and say “Hi” while you count up all that Relay money.
And, neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor dark of night nor lightning kept us from The Business Expo . Thanks again to Lynn Goldman & McFatter Technical Center for hosting this event and keeping all 4 Chambers safe and dry while we networked the night away. And more delicious food from McFatter’s Culinary School – thanks to all of the students for their hard work.
I hope you had a chance to participate in one or all of these networking events. The Chamber is here to help you promote your business. We will continue to schedule networking opportunities with varied schedules to hopefully allow your participation. Remember, “You gotta be in it to win it.” To host an after hours event, schedule a ribbon cutting for your new business, or host a breakfast, please give The Chamber office a call at 954-581-0790.
