A CFP Success
Story
I lost my home in a deliberately set fire. I was in college, working and in the
process of buying the house I was living in. It was two days after Thanksgiving
when I got a call that my house was set on fire, from that day until recently
it was a big struggle.
The fire took place up north and I relocated to
South Florida where the weather would be warmer for that time of year. This was
a new beginning for my family. When we arrived I had very little money and no
family support and it was very difficult. I managed to meet some very nice people
who guided me to an organization called The Cooperative Feeding Program. From
that point, I received a lot of valuable information, and assistance that helped
me and my family back on our feet. They helped me with getting referrals for food,
clothes and other necessities for me and my family to survive, although I was
living on the streets I didn't lose focus because I had the Cooperative Feeding
Program and the wonderful people there to support me. I didn't loose my focus
on what I needed to do to get me out of my situation because I relied on God'
strength not my own. Now things are looking a lot better from when I first arrived
about 4 months ago. I'm working and in the process of moving into a new home;
after I move I plan to go back to college and get my degree in criminal justice,
from that point the rest will be history.
To all the people who continue
to support the Cooperative Feeding Program thank you for helping the organization
assist people like me who need a helping hand to assist us in our dreams to succeed.
God Bless,
Respectfully, Your Friend

not the getting. God Bless. |
