Hi {Fname},
Get in line! Volunteers dance the night away at the 2007 Volunteer Appreciation Dinner
Sign in please! Many of the faces you see in our offices are volunteers too. If you have an administrative or IT talent we can put it to good use.
It takes a community --to build a garden! Thanks to Nova Southeastern University and Mary Ellen Rosen, RN, MSN, our community gardens' project allowed homeowners to create their own home-built gardens. Participants were taught how to grow their own produce to substitute healthy eating choices into their diets. Gardeners were also provided helpful information about the damaging impact of UV rays on eye health. Each participant was provided with free sunglasses.
All hands on deck! Thanks to Rebuilding Together Broward County, Inc, Dave Reierson, Jane Katterhenry, and Georgetown University Alumni Association we were able to resurface our parking lot at no cost.
Back to school in style! Thanks to community partners like Staywell Health Care, Target, UPS, Templeton, the Broward County School Board and people like you we were able to give out over 1000 backpacks to kids in Broward County.
Teen Talent Rules at CFP Our volunteers come in all varieties, and have many different talents. Check out how these kids put their good ideas in to action!

Got breakfast? The Boys and Girls Club paid us a visit (their 4th in a year) and brought some of their favorite breakfast foods. Not only did they provide the food for the day, they stuck around to help us prepare and serve it.
Mitzvahs abound! Zachary Krieg decided to make his bar-mitzvah extra special by donating $2000 in food and $2000 in cash to CFP. He even stayed to help us stock the shelves. Here's a picture of Zachary, moving so darn fast our camera couldn't keep up!
Smile! You just spent your summer making the world a better place. These three amigos spent their entire summer working at CFP. Summers and school holidays are great times to earn some volunteer hours, learn job skills and make a difference right here in your hometown.
What's brown and green and comes with 50,000 lbs of food? Girl Scouts! These girls put their scouting skills into action and came up with 50,000 pounds of food for our food pantry. Way to go girls!
Pack it up! WHO Fights Hunger, from Nova University School joins in the fun of sorting and packing food and supplies.
